onceand_forallme??? writing bnha fic in the year of our lord 2021?????? what is HAPPENING ??????? i feel like i’m regressing, not going to lie.
THE BACKGROUND
Who needs the bnha manga when you have YEARS of bnha fanfic to fill in the void of canon material? Seriously, why is this fandom so HUGE. What is the point of that! Oh my god!
Anyway, as in typical Once fashion, I feel for the ‘rare’ pair, or as rare of a pair as you can get when you’re one half of the ship is the main character of the most popular shounen around. But something about shindeku just called for me, and then I read some really good fics, and then I really wanted to write my own.
As of right now (Sept 2021), I actually have a handful of bnha wips sitting in my google drive, a few shindeku, and a few with 10k+ worth of content just waiting to be fully fleshed out. But god-thinigamabob just wanted out, so it’s what came first.
This idea actually struck me when I was running erands, haha. I’m not actually sure where it came from, only that I was minding my business one second and the next second I was pulling out the notes app on my phone and typing IZUKU KILLS A GOD SHINDEKU with intent. I actually drafted the entire summary first, and then two weeks later, I had this whole fic ready to go. Some of the best fics are spur of the moment ones, ya know?
THEMES
This fic is chaotic and short and silly. That’s it. It’s really not that deep.

The date itself was a simple movie and dinner and ended with Midoriya pressing Shinsou up against the wall of his bedroom and kissing the living daylights out of him.
I just think they’re neat.
His therapist is going to have a field day unpacking all of this. Maybe Shinsou should bring some of those white chocolate truffles she likes to soften the blow.Shinsou is just so WITTY. I love writing him, he’s such a joy because then I can just be as witty as I want to be. Fun times.
