this crown feels so heavy - fic recap

it's once, back at it again with a fic recap. this time for a fic that surprised me in multiple ways.
this fic was a bit difficult to write, mostly because i had just finished another mermaid bts fic and i was a bit overwhelmed with that and i really didn't want to make the stories too similar.
so then i set down the idea, forgot about it, and then finally came back after writing 40k of bts fic that wasn't about mermaids, haha.
and now this fic is here!!!! it has all my favorite things: taejin, mermaids, angst. it's just a good little bud, ya know? i was so so so excited to write the angst ever since i saw kime's just amazing art. this was written for the wintermoon bigbang and AHHH!!!!!!
i had so much fun.
now onto the show.
